Not taking any, but my eyes are very drawn to #15. And I'm also fond of #18 and #24. Very pretty.

Love the cocked eyebrow Grissom ones. Did you make his lips more red, (and more kissable looking, I might add) on purpose? Because yowza!

Actually, when I did a saturation adjustment then did a curves adjustment, it turned out that way. I no way intended that to happen. But I am glad you like them and I hope you snag them. :)

Ok so I promised to review your icons and give some hints. And I will do. *smiles*

So what I've noticed about your icons is that you definitly brighten the caps up. The cropping is already pretty good. Sometimes the sharpening is just right while sometimes it is not enough. I know that sometimes when you sharpen it seems to strong. So don't just take the sharpen out again but immediatly go to edit>fade sharpen. Here you can tune that down.

the Black and white icons almost have no contrast. Try brightening the caps up. Then flatten the image and go to image>adjustments>gradient map. Choose a simple black to white gradient. Make sure that you sharpen the picture before you flatten it. And you should have a real good outcome. You could also try and duplicate the b/w base then and set the uppermost layer to softlight. Or any other layer style.

I like the fact that your icons are brigbter then the caps. But sometimes that seems your only step. You should try to bring some other colors in.

mhhh I guess that is all I can advise. I hope it was a little helpful.

Ava

Thank you for your nice tips.

How do I go about making them with different colors with them being brighter? I don't want to steal styles, but at the same time, I want my icons to look nice.

Thanks again,
Shane

you can try strong colors on soft light or light colors on color burn.

Used my first tutorial that I made, and I believe I duplicate the layer and added it to screen. :)) and then duplicating again and setting it to softlight. I honestly dont remember as it was long ago. *lol*
